April 2nd

Hi All,

What a busy day we had today!
In grade 9 math, students conducted a survey in the lower school looking at the relationship between certain variables. They asked questions and recorded their data in a table of values. Afterwards, back in the classroom, students graphed their data and found lines of best fit. Well done everyone!

In science today we continued our exploration into the basics of space. We explored celestial objects, galaxies, the Universe  and much more. Students were assigned pg. 308 #3,7,9 for homework

In the afternoon, grade 7/8s worked on hands on math to keep them busy. We also had a no tech afternoon, doing away with google and calculators! Well done everyone working hard on all of the math problems.  Grade 7s keep working on those times tables!

In science we looked at ways to build structures and how we can build strong structures using only a few materials from the classroom. We will continue this experiment tomorrow!

Reminders
30-hour famine notes to go home tomorrow

See everyone tomorrow,
Miss Elliott
