Hi All,
Today in grade 9 math we took up our homework from yesterday. We worked on word problems and isolating variables to solve for the opposite variable. We will continue this lesson tomorrow in class. Homework: Pg. 238 #11
We did not have grade 9 science today, as the students participated in a panel discussion with local Councillor George Carlson and MPP Brad Butt. Students enjoyed asking questions and listening to the political representatives discuss their career paths in politics.
In grade 7 math today, the students had a work period. They looked at their unit review on fractions and decimals and will have a study period tomorrow for further review. Test will be Thursday
In grade 8 math today, we reviewed our unit on fractions and decimals and discussed moving decimals left and right depending on division or multiplication.
In grade 7/8 science, we explored the concept of fractional distillation. Students watched a video and read their textbook. We will be discussing this concept in class further tomorrow.
