In grade 9 math today we explored number lines, fraction strips and the addition and subtraction of fractions. We moved into science and looked at the skills and characteristics of a scientist.
In grade 7 math today we played base 10 multiple bingo! Students practiced multiplication while looking for a bingo win!
In grade 8 math we explored estimate and exact numbers. Students looked at data collected on Canada.
In grade 7/8 science we took a walk around the SJA playspace and property, looking at the creatures that make their home at SJA. We found, moths, spiders, ants, June bugs, a variety of plants, and lots of trees.
