Today we began our day with Bench Ball in gym. Mr. Browning got the student's heart-rates up competing to score on the other teams net.
After gym, we moved up to the portable to work on language and math. Students presented their "Tanka" poems and filed them in their poem folders. Folder decorations are due by FRIDAY!
After language, Ms. H joined us for math. The grade 7s worked on congruent triangles, while the grade 8s looked at their new unit on circles.
After an outdoor recess and indoor lunch, we headed off to French Cafe practice. Students worked on their singing and pronunciation while practicing their lines.
After an indoor recess and lunch, we headed up to the portable for science. Students reviewed their scales for their ergonomes, worked on their science fair projects (research due FRIDAY) and looked at their elevators (due TUESDAY)
