Hi All,
Today we began our day with a Kappa house game to celebrate Easter! Well done to all of the students for competing in the egg relay race!
After our competition we had gym. Students started their unit on badminton and worked on passing the birdies to one another.
We moved into language after gym, with a lesson on respect. Students developed a respect tree and we discussed ways to show others kindness.
In math today, the grade 7s focused on area and perimeter of parallelograms and trapezoids. In grade 8 math, we looked at types of graphs and how to report specific data.
After an outdoor first recess, we had history and art. In history, we focused on the end of the 30 years war, wrapping up the reign of Gustavas I and Fernidand II. In art, students worked on their realistic art sketches.
Ms. Henein was back today and took the students for period 6. In drama, the students read through the English version of Les Miserables. After drama, students enjoyed an indoor game of bump and lunch. Mme. Stella then took the students for French. They worked on the French Cafe production.
