Welcome back! I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing March Break.
Today Mr. Browning got the students heart rates up with an early morning Beep Test. Well done to those who stayed in shape over the past two weeks!
After gym, we headed up to the portable to begin the rest of our day. We started our morning block with the students working on a re-count of their March break. We then moved into math. The grade 7s began their sixth unit of study on area and perimeter, while the grade 8s started their fifth unit on data management.
After a warm outdoor recess, students have time for D.E.A.R. Students chose new books from the class and read for 20 minutes. Students must remember to choose a new book for Wednesday!
After reading, we moved into science. We wrapped up our science gizmo on the digestive system and reviewed digestive enzymes and organs.
After another lunch and recess, Mme. Stella ended the day with French. Students began practicing for their Les Miserables French Cafe performance.
