March 7th

Hi All,

Today we had our spirit day, celebrating an early St. Patrick's day. Zeta put on our house game and, to my dismay, Kappa was victorious! Well done Kappa, next time its all Theta!

After our house game, the students headed off to gym with Mr. Browning. They played a game of European handball against Ms. Chin's class and really had fun.

We then headed up to the portable and worked on our Math Centurium pre-test. Students explored word problems, as well as problems addressing all strands of math.

We had an indoor recess and lunch for first recess. After lunch, we finished our exploration into the digestive system. We looked at the process of absorption and placed capillaries and lymphatic vessels throughout the small and large intestine.
We headed off to reading buddies, after science, and enjoyed reading with Ms. Chang's class.
After science, we packed up the classroom, filled in our agendas and had an early recess. Mme Stella ended the day with French

Homework:
- 30 minutes of Khan Academy, 3 times
- New book for March Break
-- one paper clip per book read, must be accompanied by re-count in reading log.
