Hi All,
After an amazing Gala production last night, the students began their day with some physical fitness. Mr. Browning had the students running laps and lines before beginning their lesson on floor hockey. Students learnt how to hold a hockey stick and ended the period with a scrimmage.
After gym, we moved up to the portable to begin the rest of our day. In language, students reflected on last nights Gala performance and the preparation they did for it.
After we reflected, we moved into math. Grade 7s worked on their unit problems and started preparing for their unit test tomorrow. Grade 8s took up their unit review and began their practice test. Their test will be on Friday.
Students enjoyed lunch and then stayed in for recess to practice their speeches. In our afternoon block, students participated in our in-class speech competition. Well done to everyone; we will be voting tomorrow!
After our speech competition we had lunch and an indoor recess where we played bump!
