Hi All,
Today we began our day with Mr. Browning; students practiced their hockey skills.
In language we looked at the verbs, can and bring. Students chose the correct verb to fit each sentence. After language we moved into math. Grade 7s had their unit test, while the grade 8s worked on their practice test and Abeka math.
After lunch and recess, the last four students presented their speeches and students voted on the final winners. Congratulations to Cadance, Evlyn and Azum in grade 7 and Darren, Serena and Kyle Cashin in grade 8!
We wrapped up speeches and then worked on our Unit of Inquiry art project. Students put together paintings, posters and mache pieces. Students also received a one day extension in order to complete the assignment.
After second lunch and recess Mme. Stella wrapped up the day with French.
