Feb. 7th

Hi All,

Today we started our day with some light stretching in gym. Many of us were sore from the full day of skiing and snowboarding yesterday.

After we warmed up our muscles, we headed up to the portable for the rest of the day. We started the rest of our day with language. Students reviewed their speech outlines and made corrections were necessary. Students then had a work period for their rough draft.

We moved into math after language where Ms. H explored graphing with the grade 7s and I explored multiplying fractions with the grade 8s. With the cold, snowy weather not yet upon us, we headed out for an outdoor first recess. We enjoyed the fresh air and then headed in for our afternoon.

In the afternoon, we wrapped up our DRAs before heading to drama. Ms. Henein had the students for period 6 Gala practice. We had another outdoor recess and students enjoyed playing in the light dusting of snow.

We ended our day with period 7 French with Mme. Stella.

- Re-registrations packages have gone home, please return them ASAP
- Gala Tickets due by next Friday
- Speech rough draft due on Tuesday
- Spelling Unit #16 due tomorrow
