December 7th

Hi All,

Today we began our day with spelling. Students finished up unit 10 in their spelling books and studied for Monday's test. We caught up on our language activities looking at sentence structure and mood reflection.
In math we completed our second ONAP, looking at measurement and geometry.
After first lunch we had a science work period that allowed the students to complete research for their project. They were able to get assistance with outlines and bounce ideas off their peers for their models. After our work period we headed off to reading buddies with Ms. Chang's class. These reading periods are always so much fun for the students, they have the opportunity to be leaders and set good examples for the SK students.
Once we finished our agendas we enjoyed second lunch and recess. Mme Stella ended the day with French working on spelling, vocabulary development and verbs.

Homework
- Spelling Test Monday
- Tennis permission forms signed and returned by Wednesday, no later
- Science work period on Tuesday
- Graph paper for grade 7s due Monday

- Scrooge practice next week in the afternoon
- Rock Climbing December 20th
- Holiday Concert December 20th at 7pm
- Half Day on December 21st
