Countdown to Christmas: 12 days
Today we began our day with another round of fitness testing in gym. Students were tested on their ability to balance in a stork position, their ability to perform sit-ups and their ability to bring their heart rate down after intense exercise. After gym, students made their way up to the portable. We had a double math block where the grade 7 students looked at visualing geometric shapes and the grade 8s looked at sales tax and interest rates.
After lunch, Mme Stella had another early period of French where they worked on "imperatif" sentences. We moved into music after French and the students practiced their concert songs. After music, students had a science work period that allowed them the opportunity to work on their research and model diagrams.
Mrs. Henien had the students for second lunch and last period working on the Christmas play.

Rock Climbing permission forms are due back by Monday December 17th
Reminders
- Holiday Concert Thursday December 20th at 7pm
- Half Day on December 21st, school ends at 11:30
