We began our day today with a communication based house game. Unfortunately Theta had some technical difficulties and Kappa won the game! Next time Kappa, the game is ours!
After the house game, we moved into gym where we shared the period with Ms. Chin's class. What a great day to have a class dodgeball game.
In period 3 the grade 7s learnt about adding and subtracting fractions and the grade 8s learn about multiply and dividing them. How very tricky they can be when remembering all of their rules.
We all spent some time looking at unintended consequences in our language lesson and reviewed the grammar tool of adverbs.
After a nice break from lunch and recess, we looked at our spelling list words for chapter one and two of our grade level novels. Ms. Chang's class welcomed us during period 6 for reading buddies and we continued our spelling lists in period 7.
With an upcoming French test in period 8, many of the students spent their second lunch and recess studying. Well done to Evlyn who was a HUGE help to many of the students; administering a pre-test and orally testing the class on their verb conjugation.
