November 26th

Hi All,

Today we practiced our rallying skills in volleyball and attempted to set our class record for the number of ups.
After gym, we worked on our student comments of our report cards. Students were to reflect on their first term both academically and socially. Students also made goals for next term.
Once we finished our comments, we had our Chapter 4 Novel Study spelling test. We had some exciting words and interesting definitions, i.e. sinewy.
In math we began dissecting  proportions and scale drawings. I am positive we will all have this topic mastered by the end of the week.
After lunch we began discussing our science projects. Students have been sent home with the outline and rubric. Projects are due on December 19th
In our second language block, we discussed our novel study and the expectations for this weeks' chapters.
Mr. Matthews was in for 6th period and practiced the Christmas concert pieces with the students.
We ended the day with an indoor recess and French.

- Novel Study summary due Friday, Chapter 5-7
- Spelling Test- Monday
- Science topics chosen Friday

Reminders
- Permission Forms due Tomorrow for Wednesday's trip
- Parent-Teacher Interview sheets due Wednesday
