Easter

Hi Everyone!

Hopefully everyone enjoyed a nice long weekend with family and friends!

A few reminders:

The 30-Hour Famine is this Friday

- students begin fasting at midnight on Thursday.
- NO BREAKFAST on Friday
- Students must bring in canned goods for the famine (enough to feed a family of four for a day)
- The famine ends 9AM on Saturday morning. Parents please pick up your students from the front door. 

Science Fair

- Students in grade 7/8 should be working hard on their science fair projects

- Research papers were due two weeks ago and I am still waiting on a few!  (You know who you are!)

- Next Step: hypothesis. Students should be formulating a hypothesis and should begin building their models and testing them. 

Graduation

- Letters will be going home this week for the grade 8s. We will be ordering caps and gowns as usual and will need sizes. 

Grade 9 Camping Trip

- The grade 9s will be going on a year end trip to Algonquin Park! Notices will go home next week regarding the trip and fees :)

Volunteer Hours

- The end of the year is 8 weeks away! Students need to ensure they have their volunteer booklet and that their hours are recorded. 

- The famine will be recorded on Friday and signed off on! 

- All students MUST have 50 hours!
