March 27th

Hi All,

Today in grade 9 math, we took up our homework on graphing and then began our next lesson on line of best fit and future estimation. Students completed homework in class and during study hall. We will be taking up the work tomorrow! Quiz tomorrow

In science, students worked on their review for tomorrow's summative test.
Things to Remember:
-protons, neutrons and electrons calculations
- types of atom models
- chemical and physical characteristics of the periodic groups
- the 7 diatomic molecules
- cation and anion
- valence shells and the amount of electrons in each
- models of elements bonding
- nomenclature of elements

In the afternoon we had grade 7/8 math and science. The grade 7s took up their homework and then looked at graphing patterns and trends.
The grade 8s explored the relationship between the area of squares to the area of a circle. Textbook work was assigned and should be completed for tomorrow's lesson.
In science, we reviewed the science package and students had a work period for their science questions.
