-30?!
Today we had quite a busy day working on our final math tasks, organizing our sketches, blue-prints, and building materials. All grade 9 students should be working on building their houses this weekend. They will be able to bring in their building supplies all next week, to complete some of the building process in class. No nails, saws or serious tools are permitted at school. Try and bring construction glue and any laminate to use on house.
In science, students looked at mystery powders on a gizmo. They conducted an experiment, identifying mystery powders using appropriate chemical tests. The gizmo will be finished and taken up on Monday!
The grade 7/8s worked on their final math task in afternoon class. We then moved onto science and explored how glass and steel are made. Students looked at the basic materials of these two compounds and learnt a little bit about how each was made!
Reminders:
Grade 9 Ski Forms and money are due Monday if students would like to go to on the Field Trip on Wednesday. If not, there are no classes running, students may work on the summative tasks for any of their classes at home.
