Hi Everyone,
Today in grade 9 math we started to look at non-linear relationships and studied the difference between linear and non linear table of values and lines.
In science, students had their final work period for their science paper. Papers are due tomorrow.
In grade 7/8 math, the students explored surface area and algebra. Grade 7s looked at A=5*2 and A= 4*b. They explored the algebra of using variables in the area formula. The grade 8s looked at surface area and how to cover a triangular prism. They applied the principles of area to cover the prism.
In grade 7/8 science, the students looked at lab safety and WHMIS rules.

- Tomorrow is casual day
- Quiz Friday in every Math and Science class
