Science: Grade 9: Key Terms pg. 10-14. Add bolder terms to your glossary

Math: Today in grade 7 math we explored squares and square roots
500 House points for the first person to memorize squares up to 15!,

Math: Today in grade 8 math we went over expressing numbers as powers of 10. e.g. 314 567 436 can be expressed as either
300 000 000 + 10 000 000 + 4 000 000 + 500 000 + 60 000 + 7000 + 400 + 30 + 6
OR
3 X 10^8 + 1 X 10^7 + 4 X 10^6 + 5 X 10^5 + 6 X 10^4 + 7X 10^3 + 4 X 10^2 + 3X 10^1 + 6

Science: In grade 7/8 science we learned about how if we change one thing in our ecosystem many other things can be effected. We built a terrarium on the board adding giraffes, lions and tress. Students had to continuously add new species in order for all of the species in the terrarium to survive.

Math: In grade 9 math we reviewed the use of brackets when calculating an equation with exponents and other aspects of BEDMAS.

Science: In grade 9 science today we explored data processing and graphed the a comparison between fuel consumption and car mileage
