May 5th

Happy Monday!

Today we began our day with ultimate frisbee in gym. Students got the chance to run around outside and practice their frisbee skills.
After gym, we headed upstairs for the rest of our day. Students worked on couplet poems in language with each of them presenting two at the end of the period.
In period 3, we moved into math. The grade 7s worked on tessellation designs in preparation for their unit test tomorrow, while the grade 8s reviewed unit 6 working on the unit review.
After recess and lunch we had science. Students worked on their projects and completed a review sheet on velocity ratio, mechanical advantage, and mechanism movement. Pop quiz still to come this week!
Mme. Stella and Ms. L ended the day with French and Music.
Students also had soccer practice during second recess and lunch, well done to those who made the team!!
