APRIL 16th

Hi All,

We began our day today with gym. Students played a game of ultimate dodgeball before heading into the small gym for fitness.
After getting their heart rates up, we headed up into the portable for language. In language today, students presented their point of view stories. The story we had selected was Cinderella and students chose a character from the novel and told that characters point of view.
After language we moved in science. Students had a work period for their projects on pneumatics. They worked in their groups, using supplies they had brought from home to brainstorm. There will be another work period tomorrow and students should bring in supplies in order to work.
We wrapped up science and then moved into art. Students painted an impressionism painting looking at the beauty of a meadow of gardens; their inspiration was taken from our textbook.
We had an indoor first recess and lunch due to weather and our lake out back.
After lunch we had a double math block. Grade 7s worked with Ms H in preparation for their ONAP tests on Thursday, while the grade 8s wrapped up their practice test. Grade 8s will be having their unit test on Thursday.

Ms. Henein and Mme. Stella then ended the day with Drama and French.
