Countdown to Christmas: 10 days
Today with tennis on our agenda again for the afternoon, we started our day working on spelling and language. Students reviewed descriptive paragraphs and worked on wrapping up their rough drafts in science. We had a double math block after language, where the grade 7 students continued to look at area and perimeter of geometric shapes and the grade 8s looked at interest rates, commission and discounts.
After lunch, Mrs. Henien had the students for a practice run of the holiday concert. The play is coming along quite nicely and it is exciting to see the students in a new dramatic role.
Once the play wrapped up, students enjoyed an early second lunch before tennis. We headed over to the Delta Meadowvale for 2:00pm where we enjoyed our second tennis lesson. We look like were getting better, keep it up!
