Hi All,
What a cold day we had; the winter sure seems to
be coming quick.
Today, the students continued working on their
volleyball skills in gym, practiced their ratio and problem solving skills in
math and completed their science tables on the water system in science.
We were lucky enough to go outside for first recess
and we grabbed some chilly, but fresh air. After lunch we worked on our science
knowledge and gained an understanding of where fresh water exists across the
globe. We also looked at the functions of water in human and animal life. It
was shocking to realize that only 0.003% of the Earth's water is available for
us to use!
After science the students headed off to music
where Mr. Matthews worked with them on their guitar skills and scales. Second
recess came and went with many of us bundle up with coats, hats, mittens, and
winter boots.
Mme Stella rounded off the day with a lesson in
French, working on student vocabulary and sentence structure.
Homework

Reminders

See everyone tomorrow,
Miss Elliott
