Fall Festival Meeting

Language

- In language today we followed instructions to bake class cupcakes and a cake. 

- We learnt how to substitute ingredients (applesauce for oil)

- We played with the measurements of one of the ingredients and solved how we would find the measurements of the rest of them. (e.g. If I only had 3/4 cup of water, how much of every other ingredient would I need?)

- The lesson tied into our language expectations of instructional text, our math unit on ratios, our science unit on density, volume and viscosity and our health unit on nutrition
