The collected food we had from last week's famine was taken over to the food bank this afternoon! Students piled into the school bus and headed over to the Eden Food Bank. They dropped off multiple bags of food along with boxes and reusable bags full of canned goods and basic items. Well done everyone for your hard work and kind community service!

Grade 9 Math
- The grade 9's took up there homework today after our wrap up anti-bullying assembly. Final quiz on Unit 7 will be next Friday. Get started on those summative's grade 9s!
Grade 9 Science
-Students looked at the impact of space technology and the contributions of governments across the globe. They will be working on a research paper over the next week assessing the cost, hazards and advantages to space technology and tools. The paper is due May 12th
Grade 7 Math
- Grade 7s focused on two big word problems in class today. The exercise had them tiling a patio and relating one geometric shape to another.
Unit Review for homework over the weekend: page. 240 #1-6
Grade 8 Math
- Grade 8s reviewed their unit on the pythagorus theorem, connecting to squares and triangles for formulas. Homework on the weekend is WB pg. 170-174
Grade 7/8 Science
- There will be a review period Monday for the final structures quiz on Tuesday! Work periods will be held next week, getting the students ready for their up-coming science fair on the 22nd of May. Please bring in all materials next week!
Reminders
- Camping forms were due today! Please bring them in ASAP!- Science Centre forms were due today! Today is the last day for submission
