What a fun day we had in MYP today! PJ and pancake day brought a comfy day learning in our pjs with a full belly of pancakes!
House Competitions!!
Students competed in full school house competitions on top of our pancake eating contest. Kappa took the prize for musical chairs and the pancake contest… well done Kappa! Congrats to the Theta teacher representative, Ms Soroka, for winning the teacher musical chairs competition for 50,000 house points Well done Theta!!
In math class students worked on their math summative tasks. Projects are due FRIDAY!
In grade 7/8 math, students had to complete their board for their board games. Students typed up rules and game instructions as well. Projects are due either Thursday or Friday depending on vacation schedules!
Reminders:
Tomorrow is Skiing. The bus leaves at 7:30AM and we will return for 5:00PM. Students must be picked up from the school after the trip! There will be no classes for those who are not attending the trip
Thursday is the Basketball game at The Maples. We will be leaving at 11:30AM and will return for 3:30PM. Students must have a permission forms to attend the game and must have them submitted by Thursday morning the absolute latest!
Friday is the start of March Break :) Students will be off from the 10-21st
