Hi Everyone!
Today in our grade 9 morning classes we had a double block of science. Students worked on their presentations along with their diagrams and spoeeches for tomorrow. We will have a 30 minute prep period tomorrow and then students will be presenting their bio-geochemical cycles. Keep up the hard work everyone!
In grade 7/8 math this afternoon we looked at time zones and the Olympics! Students evaluated what time it would be in Beijing if it was noon here and vice versa. The grade 8s explored the idea of quadrant graphs, plotting positive and negative points along a four quadrant grid. Tomorrow we will be looking at how to plot shapes on these types of graphs.
In grade 7/8 science students worked on their Land-Use Plans. See the pictures below for a sneak-peek on their developments!
