First Day!

Welcome Back!

What a day we had today. It was great to see everyone back and ready to go for another exciting year at SJA.

Math: Grade 9.
In class today we introduced our course syllabus and played some get to know you games. Students worked on three math word problems that worked ons weeping off the summer month cobwebs.

Science: Grade 9
In class we introduced the course syllabus and went over the MYP expectations. Once we organized ourselves we played a game of famous science jeopardy. Students worked on their memory skills and learnt about the discoveries of famous scientists.

Math Gr 7/8:
Today we went over expectations, reviewed the course syllabus and organized our math binders. Students explored four math word problems, with the grade 7s focusing on question 1 and 3 and the grade 8s focusing on questions 2 and 4.

Science:
In class today we explored the course syllabus and looked over our up-coming units.
