Hi All,

Today we began our day looking at opinion writing. Students formulated their definition of an opinion and wrote out opinions on a variety of topics. They will be having their OWA assessments tomorrow morning and will be assessed on opinion writing.
They had gym after language and Mr. Browning played bench ball with the students.
In math the students in grade 7 worked on unit review, while the grade 8s explored the Pythagorus Theorem. The grade 7s have their unit test tomorrow.
After and outdoor recess and lunch students had reading buddies with Ms. Chang's class. They completed a science reflection in their science block after reading. Students reflected on their science fair projects and their success through the whole science process.
In music today, the students practiced their guitars for Arts Night. Second recess was soccer practice and the students wrapped up the day with French.
