March 5th

Hi All,

Today Mr. Browning began our day with a game of handball. Students got their heart-rates up, playing this very cardiovascular game. 

After gym, we headed up to the portable and began our academic day. Students transitioned from looking at verbs into looking at nouns. We studied proper, common and compound nouns. 

After language, the grade 7s completed their ONAP, looking at data management. The grades 8 worked on their ONAP preparation for Thursday, looking at patterning and algebra. 

We wrapped up math and had an indoor first recess and lunch. Students played bump and soccer in the gym. 

We finished our lunches and digested our food through science. Students explored Activity B in their science notebooks. They looked at digestive enzymes and nutrient absorption. 

After science, students headed off to Drama with Mrs. Henein. They then had another indoor recess, playing bump and soccer. 

Mme. Stella ended the day with French.
