November 16th

Hi All,

Today we sadly said goodbye to Mr. Rojas as it was his last day at St. Jude's as our gym teacher! Mr. Rojas has been a fantastic gym teacher and with his buff muscles has allowed us to learn lots about fitness and about healthy living.
After gym we worked on our novel study and discussed our summaries, vocabulary lists, question finders and story maps. During our morning periods, we heard that Ms. Henein was ill and drama practice for today was cancelled.

Some students headed outside for first recess while others attended Ms. Chin's volleyball tryouts.
After recess we paired up with Ms. Chang's class for reading buddies and read some great stories about the Bernstein Bears and a Lady who Swallowed a Fly.

In lui of Ms. Henein being ill, we spent the rest of the afternoon running our drama lines and working on our memorization for Wednesday.

During second lunch we played a game of dodgeball with Mr. Rojas and then went outside for recess.

Mme. Stella ended off the day with French and vocab practice.
