Hi All,

What a busy day we had today!

Gym: Aerobics and dodgeball
Math: 
Grade 7: Rounding corrections and mental addition and subtraction in Abeka books
Grade 8: Exponents. Many of us were struggling with exponents and what they really mean. We spent some time during our lesson today reviewing them and working with them.
Language: In groups of four we looked at the tone and audience of newspapers and magazines. 
LUNCH
History: Today we began our history of the world text, chapter one. We learnt about Phillip II, Ferdinand I and the desire to be crowned the Holy Roman Emperor in the 1600s. 
Art: Our intro lesson began with the simplest form of art, the line. We discussed horizontal, vertical, diagonal, and construction lines. 
Drama: Intro and Expectations

-End of Day: House Game hosted by Zeta.
