Happy First Day! What an exciting day we had getting to know one another and organizing ourselves for a new year of learning. We began discussing the IB learner profiles and talked about what it meant to be an IB learner. We are starting our first unit on Approaches to Learning tomorrow and will be incorporating this study with the Language curriculum under Media Literacy.
In the afternoon, we looked at some fraction math as well as a math word problem. The word problem stumped quite a few of us, as they will do, but we worked through it as a class to really sort it through.
Students also participated in P.E. and French, first thing in the morning and last hour of the day, respectively.
