Welcome Back, Happy Monday!
Today we spent our time working through the structure of report writing in language, the function of adjectives in spelling, and we continued with geometry in math.
In Grade 6 math we reviewed the properties of a triangle while in Grade 7 we studied perpendicular bisectors. In Grade 8 we began learning the Pythagorean Theorem!
In our unit of inquiry we started discussing Buddhism. We looked into the Four Noble Truths and the Buddha's life.

Parents, all students should now be bringing home their agendas daily. If you have any concerns or would like to leave me a note in their agendas, I will respond!
As well, our first ski day is next Monday. Students are required to be at school NO LATER THEN 7:15 AM.
Our Gala is also coming up; next weekend to be exact. We have been working very hard to put the performance together and it will be great to see everyone there!
